| Description |
English: Lambdoughty Hill High voltage pylon route as it crosses Lambdoughty Hill. This is the Scotland to Northern Ireland electricity Interconnector running overhead from Drongan to the converter station south of Ballantrae, where it goes underground. The tower design strings the 3 cables horizontally rather than vertically, so the pylon is shorter than usual (i.e. about 25 metres high). |
