English: Landfill Site at Beddingham from Itford Hill The area in the foreground used to be Asham Quarry. Asham House stood nearby which was once the holiday home of the writer Virginia Wolfe (1882-1941)
In 1979 the quarry was converted into the Beddingham Landfill Site and in 1994 Asham House was demolished. The landful site is run by East Sussex County Council (ESCC)and operated by Viridor Waste Management.
