English: Lane north towards the coast This rather muddy lane, with public rights of way, leads north to Pwll y Merched (=women's pool) - a beach reserved in Victorian times for women to bathe. The men's beach was a good kilometre to the west SH4393. The Amlwch water tower and the disused chemical factory can be seen in the background. |
