| Description |
A couple of months on, the seedlings that germinated in the heated bed (on the left) are looking well, the ones left out on the bench are later, as expected, and more sporadic. One thing I think i can safely conclude from all this is that it's safe to sow the seeds in heat and get them moving as quickly as possible, even in the dead of winter. Those in the peat-free compost are noticably bigger in both conditions but of course, four pots is hardly a statistically significant sample. |
