Shugart, a helicopter mechanic with the night crew, Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 162 (REINFORCED), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), inspects the exterior of an AH-1 Super Cobra prior to take-off during an Amphibious Ready Group/Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise (ARG/MEU-Ex) aboard the USS Kearsarge, June 25, 2015. Marines with the night crew inspect aircraft during night operations to ensure the safety of pilots and passengers. The 26th MEU and Amphibious Squadron 4 are conducting an ARG/MEU-Ex in preparation for their deployment to the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility later this year.
