| Description |
Shkambi Tower Tour circulaire composée de 692 "shkambi", le shkambi est un tabouret traditionnel en bois de pin du Kosovo et de l'Albanie. Exposition "Visibility" (Imposed Modernity) concepteur : Gëzim Paçarizi, architecte Pour le concepteur du pavillon du Kosovo, la modernité architecturale est synonyme de destruction du patrimoine et d'uniformisation esthétique du bâti selon des normes étrangères. La tour qu'il a créée avec des tabourets traditionnels, se veut le symbole d'une relation entre le passé et le présent qui devrait, selon lui, inspirer la modernisation de son pays. Il dénonce la disparition quotidienne au Kosovo des vieilles maisons et lance un appel pour la préservation de ce qui reste encore d'authentique.
