Description
Deutsch: Leipzig 1804 Das Grimmaische Tor

Aquarellierter Kupferstich 15,5 x 21 cm (Plattenrand) aus: Schwarz, Karl Benjamin: Romantische Gemählde von Leipzig. Eine Folge von vier und zwanzig Prospecten gezeichnet und gestochen von Karl Benjamin Schwarz. Leipzig: Karl Tauchnitz 1804, 56 S. + 23 aquarellierte Kupfertafeln + 1 nicht kolorierter Stich.

Carl Benjamin Schwarz: Vedutenstecher, Zeichner, Radierer, Farbstecher und Aquarellist (*1757 Leipzig, † 21.10.1813 ebenda). Schüler Oesers; Kustos an der Winklerschen Kunstsammlung (THIEME-BECKER Bd. 30, S. 365).
