English: GW 0-4-2T in the Goods yard at Leominster. View northward, towards Leominster station, Ludlow and Shrewsbury: ex-GW & LNW Joint Shrewsbury - Hereford main line, formerly junction of branches from Worcester via Bromyard (closed 15/9/52) and New Radnor via Kington (closed instages up to 7/2/55 (goods 28/9/64). The auto-fitted 0-4-2T, No. 1420 (built as 4820 11/33, renumbered 11/46, withdrawn 11/64) is preserved on the South Devon Railway - see SX7466 : Preserved GW 0-4-2T with Devon Belle observation car at Buckfastleigh, Dart Valley Railway. |
