Two issues are known. The first issue contains biographies of Arnauld and Pascal at v. 1, p. 15-16 and 65-66 respectively, each with added engraved portrait. In the second issue, these leaves have been cancelled and replaced with biographies and ports. of Thomassin and Du Cange, and the Table to v. 1 has been updated with cancel slips. Some copies of the second issue are known with the suppressed leaves added. Cf. Brunet
