Robert Ferguson is writing this letter on behalf of his father, M. Joseph Ferguson of Carlisle. He sends some "articles of his manufacture" as a donation to the anti-slavery bazaar. The gifts are made "of cotton got up in resemblance of silk."
Page one of this manuscript consists of a list of the contents of the case, with prices. Included in the shipment are three dozen black shawls
