Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Leven's Seat Triangulation Pillar This former quarry is fairly well concealed in the hills, until you climb up to the trig point and see the huge trucks (metaphorically) jumping up and down to squeeze more waste to infill the quarry below. Since 2020 the summit of the hill has been the site of the Leven Seat Klostoph Buddha. This effigy of Buddha rests upon the trig point and faces to the east. The Buddha is frequently painted in different colours, although most common is white or gold.
