English: Capt. Frank Hughlett, commander of Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story (JEBLCFS), presents lifesaving awards to four JEBLCFS firefighters for their response to a call, June 3. The firefighters responded to a request for assistance at Assault Craft Unit 4 to treat a sailor who was suffering from shortness of breath and was subsequently being transported to the hospital when he had a heart attack. The firefighter's actions resulted in saving the sailor's life and his return to full duty. The sailor was present at the ceremony and able to shake the hands and thank the men who saved his life.
