English: Lime Kiln Near Cilcain This small ruined lime kiln is at the side of the drove road from Cilcain to Moel Dywyll. The size and the fact that it is adjacent to the private track to Garth suggests that it would just have been used to provide lime for the local area. It is recorded on the 1878 o.s. map, but not identified on the modern 25,000 map. See also 310276. |
