| Description |
English: Limestone pavement While it is normal to find the clints and grykes of limestone pavement forming approximately rectangular patterns, here they have developed into linear features which are easier to walk along than to cross. The whole grain of this part of the island is defined by this geological lineation, since the walls are parallel to or normal to this direction, and the farm tracks follow it as they are between the straight walls. It is also possible to glimpse the richness of the flora of the old meadows. |
