Marvel at some of the most significant sights of the old city center such as the picturesque central open-air market and the Three Bridges, both designed by famous architect Joze Plecnik,. Explore the Baroque Town Hall and Robba's Fountain, also known as the Fountain of the Three Carniolan Rivers. Today's tour also includes a visit to Ljubljana Castle, nestled on a green hill in the city center. Originally constructed in the 11th century, the former Medieval fortress now features renovated rooms and halls, preserving the stories of the past while hosting new ones. Explore the castle's virtual museum, located under the Lookout Tower. Embark on a time-traveling journey through the castle and its grounds, beginning all the way in prehistoric times, covering the most important historical periods and ending in the modern day.
