| Description |
English: Llanbadarn Station, Vale of Rheidol Railway One of the 'minimalist' Vale of Rheidol stations with just a name board to mark its location. In the old days, each of the Railway's stations had a plate showing the height above sea level to show passengers how the line climbs as it progresses up the valley. The current company has not maintained this at all stations, including this one.
In the early days there was a waiting shelter and booking office here, but there was never sufficient traffic for the booking office to be manned. There was also a goods siding just up the line towards Aberystwyth (behind the camera) but this was removed in about 1930. |
