English: Lock 86, Rochdale Canal (Manchester City Centre) Subject to a planning application to put a glass fence over the wall (like the lock, a listed building) following an accidental drowning. But the stone block on the right of the lock landing is the only stepped access for boaters to reach the lock from Canal Street (the towpath), and objections have been made. |
