English: Lock Bridge, Cod Beck This footbridge is half a mile downstream from the centre of Thirsk. Its name, together with the well constructed stone bridge abutments, would suggest that this was meant to be the final lock on the ill fated canal project designed to link Thirsk with the River Swale. |
