| Description |
English: Looking north east on Ayton bridge, and a bench mark. Looking down Ayton bridge towards the north east in the direction of traffic flow. Traffic travelling west has to use the modern bridge to the south. On the left there is a First Geodetic Levelling bench mark and bolt, which dates to the 1845 survey of the line between Thirsk and Scarborough. See also 1525995 |
