Description
English: Lower Spurstow. Near Bath House Farm, Spurstow. This is close to brine runs which tap the Wilkesley Halite, a salt deposit which underlies a great deal of this area of Cheshire and which is exploited at Northwich and Middlewich as brine and at Winsford as mined rock salt.
