583054 : Previous -- (18 of 26) -- Next : 583149 The photograph was taken from a point near a building that has been a Bleach Mill and a Paint Mill and is looking toward (ahead, right) the site of the remains of a Corn Mill. 'The Lumsdale Valley is one of the best examples of a water-powered industrial archaeological site in Great Britain. It is unusual to see such extensive use of water power in such a relatively small area.
