English: MED at Marino station - 1976 Marino station was opened by the Belfast Holywood & Bangor Railway in 1869, who provided a single-storey booking office and waiting room. This building received a second storey in 1900, when it became the Station Master's house - a new booking office (since demolished) being opened on the opposite platform. One of the very few surviving structures on the Belfast - Bangor line dating from the days of the BHBR/BCDR, the building is now private property. A UTA built MED set enters Marino station with a Belfast (Queen's Quay) - Bangor service. |
