An alternate view of this classic banger, showing just how rusty the front is. I don't believe here is a Cortina of this vintage in quite as bad a condition in the UK at least, but I know Bramm77 spotted a very dodgy yellow coloured one a while ago. Hard to believe this car once rolled out of a factory brand spanking new almost 40 years ago... It must've hard an incredibly hard life to end up looking like this, almost like it's been banger raced a few times! These are really nice cars in my opinion, and years ago were once seen everywhere, but now they are pretty rare outside shows. I would say I can't see this surviving long, but then again it probably will be around like this for years to come!!! |
