Description
English: A U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Safety and Security Team Boston patrol boat, assigned to Joint Task Force Guantanamo, escorts U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Mohawk as it enters Guantanamo Bay for a scheduled port call, July 9. MSST Boston conducts a 24-hour anti-terrorism force protection watch as part of their duty within the JTF. The JTF conducts intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination for the protection of detainees and personnel working in JTF Guantanamo facilities and in support of the War on Terror. JTF Guantanamo provides support to the Office of Military Commissions, to law enforcement and to war crimes investigations.
