Summary[edit]

Description
English: Maidenhead railway station, Berkshire
Opened in 1871 by the Great Western Railway on its line from London Paddington to Reading, this station replaced an earlier 1838 one several hundred metres behind the camera position. This station was the junction for the Wycombe Railway's line to Bourne End and High Wycombe, which now terminates at Marlow. View west towards Twyford and Reading. See SU8880 : Maidenhead railway station, Berkshire, 2013 for a view from a similar position, prior to the 2017 electrification.
