| Description |
English: Major junction The white sign at the top "Bowes 7" indicates that the track over Sleightholme Moor is a public road, but cyclists following any of the other signposts marking cycle routes need hardly worry about the traffic. The track gets a little too rough for all but high clearance vehicles before it has dropped down to the valley of Sleightholme Beck on its way to Bowes. The track is, however, the most convenient route for Bowes residents wishing to visit the Tan Hill Inn. |
