| Description |
English: Manifold River The Manifold is known as an intermittent river and its course is usually dry in places during the summer. Because of recent heavy August rain, this section was full of water, but the water vanishes in places through sinks, or 'swallets' in the river bed to flow underground until it re-emerges about 6 km away to the south, near Ilam. |
