Description
English: Shows proposed town of Jackson City in Alexandria County D.C. Relief shown by hachures. Depths shown by contours and soundings. Also covers Potomac River between Georgetown and Alexandria. Pen-and-ink and blue wash. Faced with gauze and mounted on cloth backing. Includes later lead-pencil annotations at lower right. Map folder annotated in ink: This map removed from a binding containing a list of the original proprietors of lots in Carrollsburg. Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image. Vault DCP
