Description
Bahasa Indonesia: Di Pulau Madura pernah beroperasi trem uap yang dikelola oleh Madoera Stoomtram Maatschappij (MdrSM). Pada 1915, MdrSM menerbitkan peta ikhtisar jaringan rel dari trem uap tersebut. Dalam peta tersebut, tampak jalur trem uap (Belanda: stoomtramweg) hanya berada di bagian selatan pulau dan menghubungkan kota-kota utama (Belanda: hoofdplaats) di Karesidenan Madura. Sebagian besar rel dibangun berdampingan dengan Jalan Raya Pos (Belanda: Groote Postweg) yang juga hanya terdapat di bagian selatan pulau. Dua stasiun yang menjadi stasiun ujung adalah Stasiun Kamal di Bangkalan dan Stasiun Kalianget di Sumenep.
