Summary[edit]

Description
English: Mappleton beach (south) with boulder clay cliffs, Mappleton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
The almost lava-like flow of the boulder clay from the cliffs gives testament to the erosive power of the elements. The boulder clay is a remnant from the last post-glacial period and a rich source of erratics for those of us with geological tendencies!
