English: Cpl. Brandon D. Shaw gives Lance Cpl. James M. Stokes, both aviation ordnance technicians with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron, the hand signal to check ordnance loaded on an AH-1W Cobra prior to flight on Camp Dwyer, Afghanistan, June 6. Almost 100 Marines and sailors with HLMA-269 deployed out of Marine Corps Air Station New River, N.C. The squadron will provide close air support to Marines and their coalition partners on the ground in the Regional Command Southwest area of operations in southwestern Afghanistan. |
