Summary
[edit]DescriptionMariners' Chapel, Gloucester Docks - geograph.org.uk - 1015174.jpg |
English: Mariners' Chapel, Gloucester Docks Designed by John Jaques, a citizen of Gloucester, work began in 1848 and was completed and dedicated for worship in 1849. The chancel is at the west end instead of the east, which is more usual because of limited space. The chapel was built by William Wingate, also a citizen of Gloucester. Grade II listed building. |
