English: Cpl. Jorge Salazar, from Delano, Calif., spikes the ball at veteran Cpl. Ray Hennagir, from Deptford, N.J., during sitting volleyball practice at Fort Carson, Colo., May 10 for the 2013 Warrior Games in Colorado Springs, Colo. Hennagir lost both his legs and four fingers on his left hand to an improvised explosive device while with 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion in Afghanistan in 2007. Salazar suffered bilateral above the knee amputations while serving in Afghanistan. Both Marines are competing in swimming, wheelchair basketball and sitting volleyball at this year's Warrior Games May 10-17. |
