English: Marshy ground adjacent to Malpas to Caerleon cycleway The view from the Malpas to Caerleon cycleway across marshy ground towards houses on the southwest edge of Caerleon. The waterlogged land is estuarine salt marsh, being adjacent to the River Usk which has a huge tidal range. The cycleway in this part of the route is raised about a metre above the level of the fields. |
