| Description |
English: Marsworth Reservoir and Manor House Farm The reservoirs in the Tring area, including this one, sometimes have blooms of blue-green algae and the floating objects are bales of straw which apparently reduce the effect. I assume the rotting straw encourages microscopic creatures which eat the algae.
In the background one can see Manor Farm, Marsworth, which is on the other side of the Grand Union Canal. |
