es, when it isknown that practically every paper inOntario west of Toronto, using type-setting machines of any kind, take theCanada Metal Companys product. Oneof these special grades is the Combina-tion Newspaper Metal, which may beused either in linotype machine andstereotype pot. It shows results in aperfect plate and slug. The metal for illlii linotypes alone is known from coast tocoast, and nearly every big newspaperin Canada uses it. The company is content to rest itsclaims upon the results achieved by itsproducts, and if repeat orders are anycriterion, then the Canada Metal Com-pany has made a success, for the goodsbring and keep customers. Re-peat orders are the proof, and repeatorders are what pay. W. G. Harris, the general manager ofthe company, Avho has lately returnedfrom a visit to the Old Country, wascongratulated on all sides for the veryexcellent display, and he and Mr. Harris,jr., were kept busy answering questionsand describing the uses of the variousmetals exhibited.

The illustration on this page, showingan interesting arrangement of watersupply piping done by Arthur Savard,Omaha, Neb., in a residence in that city,reproduced from the Plumbers TradeJournal, New York. It is certainly anelaborate job, with each fixture tagged,and on the blackboard in the centre ofthe fixture are corresponding numbersshowing what each one represents. THE BEAVER DIE STOCK.
