8 April 8, 1908. PLUMBER AND STEAMFITTER ceiving a constant supply of freshwarmed and washed air which reachesthe occupants of the theatre throug-hscores of mushroom inlets located di-rectly beneath the orchestra chairs. The heating system is supplied withtwo large size cast iron sectional boilers,each having a total heating surface of6,000 square feet. The boilers arecross-connected and arranged so thateither one or both may be run at thesame time to do the same work. Theyare connected by heavy iron breeching,made of No. 16 black iron, to an up-right iron stack. The steam and return pipes are ar-ranged for low pressure gravity return,with the returns below the water line. radiators throughout the administrationand theatre parts of the building aretwo-pipe.
