Description
English: Memorial to John Carnie At the roadside, a pink granite slab with a water fed trough (no longer in use). Erected in memory of John Carnie of the 1st Victorian Battalion Gordon Highlanders who volunteered for active service in South Africa (Boer War) and died from enteric fever on 11th May 1900 aged 22.
