Summary
[edit]DescriptionMemorial to Sammy - geograph.org.uk - 1025727.jpg |
English: Memorial to Sammy. Sammy was a girl who was born with cerebral palsy. When she died, aged 13, a sculpture was put up in her memory beside the Kings Head public house > 1025721 which she used to like visiting, in the company of her parents. The sculpture was created from one single piece of wood by a wood carver from the nearby village of Morston - the parrot perched on top resembles a much loved feathered friend of Sammy's. |
