Τ== Summary ==

Description
English: Metrolink Bombardier tram number 3025 at the arrivals platform at Piccadilly Station Undercroft. The Piccadilly Metrolink Metrolink stop is located in the undercroft of Manchester Piccadilly mainline station. The tram stops are at street level, underneath the main line platforms. The stop was known as Piccadilly Undercroft when it was first opened.

From 1992 until 8 February 2013 (the day after this photograph was taken), the terminus was a terminus, with trams entering and leaving from London Road, at the front of the station. The station had separate arrival and departure platforms with reversing sidings beyond the platforms. From 8 February 2013, the line was extended, as originally planned for, out of the Sheffield Street side of the station, and eventually reaching Ashton-u-Lyne.

Access to the stop is from side streets (London Road and Fairfield Street) or by escalator/lift from Piccadilly Station concourse. This photograph was taken from the footway access to the Fairfield Street exit. A footway crosses the track at the Sheffield Street end of the platforms, which is one of the exits from the stop.
