| Description |
English: Mill gasworks at Shaw Lodge Mills, Halifax. This is the rarest of the rare. A textile mill gasworks with surviving horizontal retort benches. I do believe it may be a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Shame it is so dangerously deteriorated. It is right over the wall on the right of my picture looking up the lane to the chimney. |
