English: Mineral Railway A pleasant walk along the banks of the Peakshole Water from Castleton to Hope crosses this mineral railway at this point. The bridge over the Peakshole Water can be seen in the middle distance of the photograph. The mineral railway connects the Blue Circle cement works at Hope (behind the viewpoint) with the main railway line between Sheffield and Manchester. |
