| Description |
English: Minor flood on Brown's Bridge Road. The busy road, built across a landfill site, is only about 12 years old, and has a continuous line of vertical drains along the kerbstones at this point. Floods like this are usual after heavy rain, but disperse fairly quickly. Whether there's a blockage, or the underlying soil gets waterlogged, I don't know, but interesting plants grow nearby (see 828403 and 876785, for instance, taken a few metres away), so one hopes any remedial work will have a light touch. |
