| Description |
English: Moel y Faen Slate Quarry and Spoil Heaps Looking across the minor road at the huge quarry spoil heaps. Silent and imposing sentinels for decades they are now being re-processed to extract any usable pieces of slate. Their removal will, of course, transform the landscape once again, just as the spoil heaps did when they were created originally. |
