Description
English: Moray House, Canongate One of the finest mansion houses in the Royal Mile, Moray House was built by the Countess of Home in 1628 and passed to the Countess of Moray in 1645. Cromwell took up residence in the house briefly after the Battle of Dunbar in 1650.
