| Description |
English: Mud, mud, glorious mud Nothing quite like it for messing up the trousers! The 4 fields crossed by the footpath between Heyshaw and Lanes Foot are purgatory, with stiles and gateways surrounded by a liquid ooze that threatens to swamp the boots. There are traces of an ancient paved way in places, which seems to prove that this has always been a soggy patch. |
