“Geneva 13 Nov 1824 Dear Sir I Send you a Boat to take your Flour I am a frade to put In Wheat In Bulk if it Should guit frose up by the way it would Be difficult to Store it and from the appearance of the weather the canal will [Cles?] [form?] I have Bin informed it was frose over at Lyons Last Nite & this is a cold Nite 2 have one Boat Load of Wheat at Montesumey & No Boats to put it on Borde of A grate Number of our Boats were not [Siald?] thar for unfit Cary Loos wheat & Stil in good order for Barrels This from Yours N Hall" On front of document, left of page: "N.
