Summary[edit]

Description The Indian rhubarb has been cut back for the winter but it will render this pool nearly invisible by next summer. Darmera peltata, to call Indian rhubarb by its scientific name, is a plant that "likes its feet wet." This small pool ensures that the roots will be well watered. The pool also illustrates our gardeners are water engineers, among other skills, as they seek to replicate ideal conditions for a wide array of plants. Photographed at Regional Parks Botanic Garden located in Tilden Regional Park near Berkeley, CA.
