BICOL, Philippines - Equipment Operator Constructionman Xavier Fay, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 4 and a member of the Philippine Army’s 565th Engineer Construction Battalion work together to nail a piece of plywood down during Pacific Partnership 2016 to build and renovate a school building for 650 local children. Pacific Partnership is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness missions conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region, focusing on developing and strengthening partner-nation relationships, preparing for all hazards and building shared knowledge between U.S. and host nations.
