Notes
  • Significance: Structure FF is a cistern. The cistern is located at the east end of the west to east trending linear ridge. The cistern is approximately 1/4 mile northwest of Superior near the east end of the Old Superior townsite. The cistern consists of a roughly circular depression 7 feet 10 inches in diameter and 3 feet 3 inches deep at its center. Several scraps of milled lumber are scattered across the pit and a length of iron pipe with an interior diameter of 2 inches and an exterior diameter of 2-1/2 inches extends northward from the south edge of the pit. The cistern is in poor shape with little intact structure remaining. The pit has been partially filled with sediments making the true depth uncertain.
